East Portland CIT Corporation’s Board of Directors has unanimously approved the 2017 shareholder dividend. All shareholders as of December 31, 2017 will receive a 9.6% dividend on their funds invested. Shareholders can expect to receive dividends by July 31, 2018.
Continuous improvement in the building has allowed Plaza 122 to thrive, with 95% of space leased. The variety of businesses increasingly reflects the vitality and needs of East Portland. New tenants who have joined the Plaza 122 community in the last year include: ByZion Graphic Design, KnightHawk Protection, La Osita food cart, PCM LLC, Divine Motors, and Laas Auto. Current tenants who have expanded into more space include: CultureBound, Somali American Council of Oregon, and Africa Family Holistic Health Organization.
Currently, East Portland CIT is on track to reach 60 investors by August 1, 2018. Investor demographics reflect the diversity of East Portland; over 58% from communities of color, 57% women and 62% renters.
